First Thursday, Nov 6: Seeds, Sweets, and Secret Spaces

This is your friendly reminder: Thursday, November 6 is Summit First Thursday--your chance to catch art, culture and community in full swing. Here are four spots worth hitting (in any order, you make the map).

1. Summit Free Public Library – Ida Picker: Secret Spaces 3–7 pm, 75 Maple St. Bold and colorful paintings from artist Ida Picker.
   

2. Lavender & Sage – Bubbles & Truffles

   4–7 pm, 426 Springfield Ave. Contento Candles you’ll want, treats you’ll crave.
   

3. The Healing Arts Gallery – New Photography 4–8 pm, 57 Union Pl, Suite 212. This gallery/Reiki-studio hybrid invites you to view a new photography show in honor of Environmental Conservationist and Photographer Maya Bank-Shikhman.
   

4. Visual Arts Center of New Jersey – Seed Exchange + Quick Gallery Tour

   5–7 pm (tour at 5:30pm), 68 Elm St. Bring leftover seeds, swap for something new—and peek into the show. Light bites included.
